I have an idea of modifying my Prius C

Depends on if you want motors for them. If not maybe less than $500 depending on if you do it yourself. Its just a matter of moving the hinges and wiring harness to the top. If you add motors, controllers, computers, etc., Then you are looking at a little more. These are just guessing numbers. Never thought about doing that, so I don't have an exact number. Would be a cool idea, though.

An awful lot - there are a few kits floating around - for LAMBO style, or Gullwing. I read $1500-$2000 for the kit - plus $500 for fitting. But in that case (I think a Supra??) it needed some body $$$trengthening to $$$upport it. Something like this - which now I look, I think is a Skyline:



BUT - if you want a Falcon Model-X door - I think you need to buy a TESLA. They're an incredibly complicated - and reportedly unreliable arrangement. The roof would need heaps of strengthening - I suspect impossible.
