    Burning is the result of heat. Either the connection wasn't fully tightened to specs which caused extra resistance and heat (possible and more likely). Or the contacts in the relay started to fail due to extra resistance and heat (possible but less likely).

    replaced relay and just drove it 10 hours up to the mountains and back and she drove well no burning smell!

    you have to torque all the 8mm nuts on each cell. For code P0AA6 remove the negative strip that on the HV battery. The P0AA6 will go away. Reset the both battery HV and 12v. You will be okay. I just finish with my.

    This is BAD advice. Removing the ECU's ability to detect a P0AA6 does not fix it. Ignorance is not bliss in this case.
