    Hi again guys,
I put this on reddit if anyone is there too. Is this a standard wheel for the 2017 year? I had to go back after test driving because I had this vision in my mind looking at the car for the first time that this wheel looked different than their online pic.
Went back and sure enough I was right, it's missing the wheel cover. Is that standard with these to have plastic wheel covers? I assumed they were regular wheels and the plastic covers kind of surprised me for being on the advanced model.
    Thanks again@!

Never mind. I'm slow when it comes to searching! I see now that this is normal. Sorry!

Those are the same caps and wheels that are on my 2020 Prime. I think your good. I like the mag wheels personally!

The OEM alloy wheels under the plastic cover is the same for the 2017-2020 Prius Prime all trims. I think it is also same in the 2021 model, but I have not seen the 2021 PP. The plastic wheel cover design slightly changed. Your second pic is the OEM wheel cover from the 2017-2019 PP. They are asymmetrical and the same on all four. No right or left sides covers. I don't like asymmetrical design on wheels since the right side and left side looks are different.

The cover on the 2020 (and I think for the 2021 model) PP looks like this. They are now symmetrical. No right and left handedness.

There is a nice looking alloy rim on one 4th Gen level (without plastic cover)? Maybe Prius Touring. @Tideland Prius is up on it?

The Touring (or Limited now in the US) has the 17” wheels but they do have plastic inserts between the spokes. (The black part)

I prefer the alloy wheels, but I kept mine. When I eventually trade in my Prime and I find that I have curb rash on a wheel or two, I will just put the wheel covers back on. Problem solved.
