Just got back in a new 2020 Prius LE in deep red shade!

Wow, that red is pretty intense for a Prius, something to get used to.

Prius feels tight in frame and handling. And, drives a like a little sporty hatch!
Kinda cozy and small feeling inside.

I came back from 19' L Eco in green and missed it so much I had get another one in 20 LE.
One thing I noticed after a year hiatus is the wind noise around the front windshield.
Maybe I didn't notice it so much last time.

Did a 70 mile round trip last night and ended with 69.9 MPG.... not bad!
She was a blast zipping around some country road! That is compared to the SUV brick I had.
Felt even zipper than my 19 Eco.

I plan to make a flat lying board in the back hatch and rear seat for sleeping.
LE w/ spare tire has foam flooring that adds about 2" height over the L Eco.
Like the added spare but lost some head room for lying down...

This time I plan to keep the Prius for a while...

Welcome back, missed the MPG? It cost a lot to switch between one car and another.

Just missed the light control and overall quiet ride of Prius. Awesome MPG is secondary for me.

But, can't help wonder why this 20' LE is noticeably louder on highway in driver side A pillar along with lot more tire noise intrusion...
I really didn't notice these in my 19' L Eco.

Do these two variants have different stock tires?

    Thanks!

I used to live in Cambridge, MA, next to Harvard U.
It was a blast living and working in Boston for 3 years!

I think the LE Eco came with extreme LRR tires while the rest of the prii come with normal LRR tires. I used to have 17's on my last car and prefer the 15's that come with the more basic models, cheaper to change and quieter. I am running the defenders now but they do cost 2-3 MPG's than regular tires but I think they're fairly quiet. Welcome back!
