I've used Krylon on plastics several times. Seemed to stick pretty well.

Don't got a Prime, and I had the paint awhile ago.

Thanks. I was surprised at how easy it was and very pleased with the results.

I got Moonstone interior for the "Moon Buggy", and had to pay extra because it only came with fancy wheels and Pearl paint. Mostly for the seats but I always keep them covered and bought but not made custom silver velvet stretch covers. Go figure.

IMO the Moonstone interior has a 1970s future sci-fi vibe, where the future is bright, well lighted, clean and very cheesy.

PS-while we on subject of Interiors, especially the Moonstone, what is latest recommendations for ArmorAll type anti-sun protector products for dash and door sills etc? Is that even still a thing, or did that issue get totally solved by re-formulated solar resistant plastics and they never told me?

Update on the wife's plastidipped dash: Now that it's had time to fully cure, it doesn't feel as grabby as it did in the first week.

I learned, over time, how much harder and resilient many spray paints can be if left to cure months instead of, say, a day or a week. That does make sense to me.

Neighbor was just telling me of the trouble he has had getting the dip off a truck's wheels. After trying different things, including gasoline, he said a product used by roofers to get tar out of clothes is working.

From what I've learned, the thicker the plasti-dip is applied, the easier it all peels off when desired. Thin coats would be the toughest to pull back off.

But I could also see a truck's wheels baking the plasti-dip over time (brake heat) to where it may not have the peel properties it should.

Then I've seen some on the road that have started peeling on their own.

Still hoping to be able to find a moonstone sometime down the road - hopefully in Wind Chill, Silver, or Magnetic Grey

Hopefully you're aware that Moonstone has been updated for 2020 and newer models? It's no longer black/white. The seats are now light grey/white. The dash is still black/white.

Thank you for the reminder ... I don't like it as well as I did for certain ... but that black interior is just so black!

Same. I’m not a fan of my black interior but I couldn’t pass up the $2k discount over a 2019 with moonstone (2019 was the first year Moonstone was made available in Canada. Mine’s a 2018).

I agree and in Gen 4 I found Moonstone too light so I ended up with the Almond interior.

I love the Moonstone black/white (it's like an orca, we love orcas here). But even if I'd found Moonstone available with the Blue, I would have hesitated. I'm a filthy hiker.
