Do the CO state incentive apply to a used PHEV? I is like $4000. If not, without a fed credit, the price on used Prius Prime LE should be much lower. Or, maybe living in New England region, I might be spoiled. My two purchases of new Prius Primes were both below $20K after fed tax credit.

According to CarGurus the price is $1245 below what is should be (Premium is equivalent to XLE trim). AFAIK any rebates tax/credits only apply to the original purchaser. When buying new you have to pay normal selling price + state sales tax and registration fees based on the normal price then wait till tax season to get your rebates/credits. Not everyone qualifies for the rebates/tax credits or wants to tie up their money for up to a year so buying used is a better option for some people.

Agreed. The price would not fly in NE or NY/NJ region, but yeah depending on your location, it could be a good buy.

Premium (or XLE) has ~$30k-$31k MSRP. I bought my 2017 Premium ($30k MSRP) at $19K after all rebates and credits are applied. Then I bought 2020 LE ($29k MSRP) at $18K after all rebates and credits are applied.

Also many used cars often don't have the $500+ "dealer handling/documentation" B.S. fee.

Till you get your electric bill. :D errr, I mean,

Edit to add that I think that's probably a reasonable price considering what a used Prime costs here.

I just bought a2020 Prius prime last week. MSRP $28k less $4500 cash rebate, $1100 cash rebate down to $22.5k. Figure in $4500 fed tax credit and only 30 miles...,,, That ids $18k for brand new...

Any North East states currently offering $4500 rebate is possibility. I got my new 2020 PPLE at $11K off MSRP back in Feb (including prorated $4500 fed credit due at next tax return).
