I’ve got my original 2007 Battery, Dr. Prius estimates it’s got 74% remaining. I’m currently getting 52.1 MPG.

My father has an 07 with an original battery, estimated 76% remaining.

Do you honestly expect an answer to this question? Who can possibly answer that?

But here's one data point. Mine is a 2007 with 229K miles and original battery. Good luck on the rest of the quest.

i think there's a ton of gen 2 with the original batteries on the road, and expect they will be for quite some time.

I am of the same mind. If the use case fits the Prius, it will last and last and last... Those NYC cabs are mostly Prius

My January '08 build is still on the original battery. I'm hoping/expecting it to go 15 years, to January of 2023. At that point, I'll have owned the car for 5 1/2 years on my purchase price of $7100, and I'll probably scrap it, having gotten my money's worth.

Got my '08, brand-new off the dealer lot at a total cost of about $7,300. Has the original traction battery.

On the second 12v battery. First 12v lasted 7 years.

Other than that, only major cost was replacing the water pump at 55k.

Are you missing a "2" in front of the "7", perhaps? Our 3/07 build has 287k, original battery still going strong.

I paid $30k for my brand new Prius in 2008.
It was the last Prius to be found in Florida when gasoline was getting very expensive!!!

Totally disagree... I see Gen2 Prius everywhere I go... These cars are going to be around for a long, long time, especially once Dr. App starts selling his Lithium battery packs.

There are a lot still on the OG battery. Heck there are still some 2001’s with the original pack, believe it or not! Pretty amazing

Our old 2010 II in August of 2009 was $21k before taxes:).

Our 2019 Prime was $26k before taxes;).

Slow growth over time but the differences between them and the safety features I feel justify the increase(y).

and 30k for the pip, after tax credit. cost of being an alpha buyer

could have had a prime for close to 20k here, a few years ago.

I suspect you simply aren't telling us the value of the car you traded in....
