My question isn't about how often I should change the oil in the car, nor how to reset the oil change reminder...but how do I change the number of miles from 5000 to 10,000?

Is there a way? Or do the rest of you just reset it and change at the second reset?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    No. And yes.

It is a "service interval"; 5K is for tire rotation.
I usually end up doing tires and oil around 7.5K.

The 5,000 miles is for tire rotation. Every other tire rotation is an oil change. These are not customizable settings. Sorry.
