So I need to replace the vapor canister on the wife's 2010. There are 3 bolts and 1 plastic clip holding the canister. I just noticed it even mentions the clip in the factory manual. My problem is it's a weird looking clip and I can't find any information on how it releases - even in the "clip" section of the manual. Does anyone know how it releases, and why is it even there? Like I see no issue with just breaking it and just using the 3 bolts on install? Thanks for any info!
After you remove the 3 bolts, you can pop it off with a good pry tool, doubt it will break, Mine didn't, but still tossed it in the trash.
