I buy from Amazon for my convenience. Waiting on two packages now, a dozen cans of food of a brand my wife prefers but not available withing 100 miles. And a dozen packages of food no longer carried by Walmart being ordered thru Amazon but not shipped by Amazon and thus taking 10 times as long. Just took delivery of a case of an item Walmart no longer carries. I pretty much know what I want before I go to Amazon. If I don't, I do a google search on the item just to compare prices. I want to go to the Walmart store and. if item A isn't in stock, I want to look around and I make the choice if a substitution is right for me. Or pass till the next trip. I go to the Walmart web site and it is a nightmare. On one product I used to buy at the local Walmart, Amazon's price was the same to the penny. I pay the same state tax. As a prime member (as are roughly half the households in the US) shipping is free. Delivery is to my door, I don't have to go to a store to pick up. And I get to see my family members wish lists for present times. There are competitive sellers for many of the items Amazon itself offers. But based on my excellent experience, why would I switch. The legal article cited above is worth reading.
"I go to the Walmart web site and it is a nightmare." Ditto. That's all you had to say. What legal article do you refer to?
The main problem with Walmart is that any hillbilly can sell stuff there meaning that their one saving grace, the ability to buy/return a product in store does not exist on 99% of the random crap sold there. if they had a hard separation that was easy to sort out it would work but it doesn’t making the site not only useless but also deceptive, brickseek as useless as it is at least can search for products that really are in a real Walmart unlike Walmart’s own site that throws in links to all the crap
Well, I did find one item there that was useful. That's where I got my Blizzard Perle White touch up paint (primer, top-coat and clear-coat), and at a reasonable price too. But that's the exception, not the norm.
on amazon today, i changed the 'sort by' from featured to low to high price. although it resorted, the prices were all over the place
