Strange when the base level is the only one that comes remotely close to what you want.

    1. Fore/aft
    2. Recline
    3. Seat bottom height
    4. Seat bottom tilt
For the 6-way manual seat, take the first 3. For the 8-way power seat, take all 4.

They used to include the lumbar support (and called it 10-way) but Toyota seems to prefer "8-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support" instead.

A luxury car's 20-way power seat would include

    1. Fore/aft
    2. Recline
    3. Seat bottom height
    4. Seat bottom tilt
    5. Lumbar adjustment
    6. Lumbar height adjustment
    7. Seat bottom cushion extension
    8. Upper seatback angle
    9. Headrest height
    10. Headrest tilt

Other cars may include adjustable bolsters and the Lincoln Continental actually has individual seat bottom cushion extension adjustment for each leg.

Thanks for the clarification. So, for my manual 6-way driver's seat on Prime LE, only thing I do not have is the seat bottom tilt, and 4-way passenger's seat must be the first 2 only. Humm, I don't remember ever changing that seat bottom tilt option on my Prime Premium. Maybe the default setting was good enough for me.

I always got by with the default seat bottom tilt on previous cars. But once I found the sweet spot with the power seat, I was hooked. Just the right amount of under thigh support. That's probably why my tailbone no longer catches on fire on really long drives with this car.

That’s correct. Usually it’s only European cars that have manual seat tilt (although a few Nissans have had it in the 90s). They were always rotary knobs for the tilt (and usually but not always accompanied with a knob for the seat height as well).

Toyota seat height adjustment tend to tilt the seat bottom (they’re not straight up/down but rather pivot along the front of the seat bottom) so I usually tilt the seat to flatten it or raise the front for thigh support.

Some Toyotas too. I think it was my 1996 Camry that had the rotary knobs.

    Gasp, say WHAT... no cooling!?!

I love Prius Primes (got our second one in less than 2 years), but our Mercedes have another nice feature: ventilated seats for summertime comfort (although it is kinda' overkill in a convertible when the top is down).

I think we were discussing what is called a Prius Prime, and BSM and RCTA are only available on the Limited unless this has changed since we bought ours in February.

Well that isn't part of seat movement/adjustability.

Ventilation (and there are variants - from simply forced air to actual cooled air) and massage (again, variations) are separate.

That'd be nice. I've only tried it on a 2006 IS way back then. Haven't had a car with ventilated seats yet.

The 2020 EV port cover cap has a hollow handle (D ring), while the 2017-2019 have a solid handle (sorta shaped like a saddle)

I want to find out what the Toyota part number is on that 2020 cap cover so I can upgrade my 2017.

Every time I hear comment like that, I think of my 20 lb porker of a jump pack.

And that's just for starters; I'm ready for Armageddon, lol.

A few more things, not necessarily Prime related but in case there are owners that are new to Toyota.

    • The navigation has a footprint mode (building outlines) at the highest zoom level (50m/150ft).
      • This is available both in day and night mode but it’s more obvious in day mode
    • The 11.6” screen has a pinch-to-zoom feature but only in 2D map mode.

Outlines of the buildings (usually in downtown areas but I've noticed that they've started adding buildings outside of the downtown core where I live.)
