It all started with the red triangle and purple battery lights when first starting Prius. I read many post and took out hybrid battery. I found and replaced 1 battery that was reading lower voltage ( 6.6) when all the rest where 7.8. I completed load test on all the batteries with a headlight bulb. Balanced battery overnight, all cells reading 7.65 or 7.66. Installed hybrid back and now I have 214 volts at the battery but car will not start, all lights on including red triangle on. Battery symbol on displays showed around 4 blue bars. Car will shift into N if that means anything. I took side cover off hybrid battery and turned car on. I am not getting any voltage past where the batteries connect to Relays ?. I don't have schematic off any kind. I am very comfortable TS electronic/electrical issue. I have not pulled any codes yet.

You probably forgot to lock the orange interlock device on your battery

Can you post some pictures of the HV battery, including the relay/ecu area.

Looks like you haven't bolted the battery down to the car chassis. You need at least a couple bolts in

It will throw a code if that grounding bracket is not installed across the 2 leads where they enter the battery box but maybe he took that apart just to measure dc.
If it was bolted all up and still not starting it may have a corroded battery ecu plug or a broken or rotted temp sensor.
Pulling the codes it’s throwing will tell u why it’s unhappy.

Happened to me. Push it in and then slide it down. Then cycle the ignition a few attempts and it'll sort it out.

Previous owner cut the grounding strap , I will make certain that it is reconnected firmly my next attempt at starting the car. My discussion is in Prius Gen 2 "What's wrong with this procedure?"
