    Found a corolla spare
2009-2019 OEM Toyota Corolla Firestone Compact Tire with Rim, T135/80R16

Will it fit the Prius prime?

the tire sealant is too expensive to use. I had to used twice and now thinking getting a spare. Thanks.

Correct, I put it in dry*.

Half the plug kits are sold with rubber cement, half are not. Plugs are certainly not dependent on rubber cement as a sealant, they seal perfectly by themselves.

Discount Tire (America's Tire in California) repairs tires for FREE.

They dismount the tire and repairs it on the inside, remounts and rebalances it ALL for FREE.

That's why I always buy my tires from them.

However, they will not repair any tire where a plug has been previously used.

I think that's great. They have over 900 locations too in 30 states. (as of 2018)

Unfortunately there's Not a Discount Tire store near everyone in the United States...

My black jack kit is like that. The plugs are super sticky, and there is a jar of lube in the kit, but doesn't seem like rubber cement, just greasy.

Good to know; I was idly wondering about that. I've done a couple of plug repairs on our Prius (with the black jack kit) and 3~4 on other vehicles, never a problem.

Good to know, I used regular rubber cement on the last two repairs, because the tube of cement had dried up.

AFAIK, the "fuzzy caterpillar" type of plug is gooey enough to not need glue. The old fashioned rubber strings that I haven't seen in ages do need glue.
