I have an imported 2014 car here, snd I'm fairly happy with it, but the central part where the sat nav / usb options etc... are in Japanese which is confusing when you don't know a jot of Japanese I'm looking at possibly getting an android auto type of device, and still keeping the reversing camera. Is this possible? I live in the UK too Thanks in advance
This is 100% possible. I put in a Kenwood touchscreen unit with a Kenwood amp + speakers and a $12 backup camera that works like a charm. Do you have the JBL audio system or the stock 6 speaker system?
This is rather important as it will relate to which harness you need. If you have never replaced a head unit before I would highly suggest watching a couple youtube videos to understand the level of complexity you will be dealing with. The job itself is really not too bad if you are used to wiring/harnesses/ general audio-visual functionality.
