Hello I have a 2002 prius and the red exclamation will pop on then the car will run really slow.I scanned the car and the code was for inbalance of cells.I think Im gonna part out the car t this point so what would be a good asking price for a HV battery with a few bad cells? car has 239k miles on it and im sure the battery does too. Somthing fair priced for both I and buyer?Thanks...
It's junk. You'll be lucky to find someone who will pay you for it. Expect to pay someone else to haul it away.
What about parting out?The little orange battery cut off goes for $30-$50 alone let alone all the good cells/shell/computer etc.Thanks for the response.
If everything else is OK with the car, I'd replace the bad modules and keep it going, you can buy tested modules on eBay for $20-35, or sell them individually. The catalytic convertor is valuable for precious metals, clear headlights are rare
