I'm excited to join the club! Just came home with my new 2020 Prime XLE last night. I've been reading through these forums for awhile now as I researched the purchase. But now its time to say hello!

The Prius a world of difference from the Tacoma I traded in! I'm going to miss the capabilities of the 4x4 Taco, but as I drive 300+ miles a week, I'm glad to reduce my gas cost and my environmental footprint.

    Cheers!

    Hello and welcome!

I test drove a prime this weekend. The battery was depleted so I couldn't give it the drive that I wanted. Overall, the Prime is a fantastic successor to the Gen three.

Do you have any mods in mind?

The battery on mine was depleted too, so I made them charge it while I did paperwork. The ride home was so smooth and quiet! Much more power than I expected too, especially in power mode!
I've got lots of mods in mind, but doing some research first. Simple stuff to begin with. Currently scouring the site here, reading about Carista to disable the reverse beep. Maybe some LEDs for the interior lights. So much good info to dig into...

Welcome to PC. I'm sure you will enjoy the ride in your new vehicle. I always wanted Tacoma, but I never got one. If and only if, Toyota ever come up with plug-in Tacoma... NAAAAA. It Ain't Gonna Happen :LOL::LOL:

New Taco will be unveiled this week at the Chicago Auto Show. We’ll see if it’s the same old or if there will be surprises.

@Salamander_King upon further reading, it might just be special editions of the Tacoma. Guess we’ll find out in a few days.

At 300 miles a week your car will pay for itself in fuel saving way before the end of max lifespan of vehicle...
