This has been driving me crazy, and I can't find a solution. There was nothing in the manual either. If you touch a point on the navigation screen with the 11" display, it puts a "Mark." This freezes the display and there is no back or cancel button to get out of it. Does anyone know how to go back from this?
Yea, that's what I do on my Gen 4 with the smaller screen. I like to run the nav map in full-screen when using, and pressing Home will erase the "mark" when it goes back to small mode, then you can go back to full-screen from there and the mark will be gone...
Thank you for the replies. Yes, I've checked that the home button cancels the mark and goes back to the navigation. Then I need to touch the screen once to make the pop-ups at the bottom hide.
Or not. At the very top left of the screen, there is a "^" or a "v" in a rectangle. That's a toggle for the bottom menu fly out. One setting on the toggle makes sure the big menu fly out doesn't ever appear unless the "Menu" button off the screen to the right is hit. Otherwise, almost anything you do on the screen allows that annoying massive menu screen to fly up from the bottom, and usually when you don't want it to. I have mine set to never appear (unless I hit the black menu button).
