what is the significance of the difference Street colors on my map screen on my 2020 Prius Prime? Is the red a record of the route that I have taken? Does the map reveal street conditions?
it's traffic. Like Google maps, red indicates slow traffic. There is an option to trace your route too, but I don't know what color that is as I have that option deselected.
No because we don't have Entune (and for 2020, only the base model has Safety Connect and the required hardware but they don't have traffic because it uses ScoutGPS for navigation. The Upgrade models don't have Entune)
As @GSK said, red is slow traffic. It lies quite often, though. Green is normal and yellow in between. Your previous route, if route trace enabled, is little dots.
It took me a while to figure this out too. It is not documented anywhere in the manuals. What do the jagged lines mean?
You mean these little saw teeth? They show the direction of traffic travel. I don't think it does actually explain that. If it does, I missed it. But it's apparent to me since it always DOES point in that direction.
