Hi there, A week ago, after a day of rain, I got brake (yellow and red), traction and ABS light ON. As I figured out that the fuses cover was not well closed, I checked some of the fuses related to ABS and 2 or 3 days later, the lights went OFF. 2 ago, the lights came back so I checked my battery voltage. I got 11,93v cold (minus 20 degrees) and 12,35v after my ride to the subway (10 km long). Is the battery the problem? Thx for your help guys
"Is the battery the problem?" Very likely. How old is it. Even a post-drive 12.37 is marginal to poor; 11.93 resting...a goner.
In that case, why is there no specific light for the battery? Back in time, it was common to have those lights no?
Hi there, With my new battery, the voltage is 12.58. Is it normal or is the garage tried to give me a refurbished one? What a brand new battery is supposed to give me?
Ok... Lights are ON and OFF so I bought a scanner. I got C1238 / C1253 and C1466. When I went to the mechanic, he told me that my rear Left wheel was jammed and that the brake needs to be cleaned. Can I have your opinion guys? Thx
Those codes point to wheel speed sensor and other related parts. I would plan on getting brake lube and looksee done, perhaps other brake work if needed the mechanic sounds like he is correct. Pay attention to the rear brake caliper slide pins too. they tend to rust up on the rear for Gen3
Hi guys, The rear right wheel bearing was dead and needed to be changed. No more errors on the dashboard so far. Fingers crossed Thx guys
