Hope you all have a peaceful evening and a wonderful Christmas Day tomorrow! Just rolled over 120K miles in my 2010... what a great present it has been. Peace
We had a Christmas party at the home of German expats and it was very international. Hosts got everyone involved in a Nativity play. Considering that few present were devout Christians, it went very well. Main thing was that everyone was together in spirit and joy.
Considering I spent Christmas Day 2018 being transported by ambulance 140 miles from a Portland level 1 Trauma Center hospital to a level MEH nursing home, I have to assume Christmas 2019 will be better....hmm...maybe I better stay indoors on the 25th. Happy Christmas everyone! kris
Merry Christmas to all my hybrid loving friends! I hope 2020 is filled with amazing mpg and blessings
Merry Christmas to all of you. I am waiting for the dreaded invasion of my 87-year-old father-in-law for Christmas dinner. He told wifey when she asked last weekend that he wanted hamburgers for Christmas dinner. Of course, he was trying to be cute. But wifey was so PO'ed at him that she decided that was what we were having. A day later he tried to back-peddle and was pushing for turkey or ham....but ... nope. I am grilling burgers! Works for me. Just to see him simmer. HAHA> Oh, I am so bad. Spiderman, Kris was in a head-on traffic collision last year and sustained extremely serious injuries. She has posted about them a few times. Amazing she has come back as well as she has. If you click on her name next to her post, you can see history of postings and you can read about it, although ... well ... not exactly something I want to read on Christmas day.
I live 5 doors down from my in-laws and Christmas dinner represents family dinner #4. We did pizza last night as I grew tired of either ham or turkey. Picked my parents up from the airport last night, so now I’m not the only outlaw. Hope everyone enjoys the holidays.
Severe injury, hospital, nursing home, rehab, ... Being able to change her own tire last week demonstrates major recovery progress, a lot to be thankful for.
