Recent release of the gentleman's Prime video. Today he talks about all money aspects of his Prime and how he's gonna keep his Prime forever.

The discount off MSRP is only ~$2k. Pretty much every deal in this thread is much much better. Also, the financing terms are pretty terrible. 84 months of financing @5% is going to end up costing quite a bit. So, I assume that guy must be aware of these issues. If not, I guess ignorance is bliss.

Financing will cost about $5.4k per the terms of that deal, which brings the cost of the car up over $34,000.

Yes, agree with your Math. Thanks. To me, and after watching this gentleman's recent 4 videos about his Prime, I'm encouraged that's here's a person that had taken a shine to a Prime. At first his motives were probably financial due to his job but I think once he started driving his Prime his focus probably changed on how much he really likes his Prime. He comes to the Prime family from owning higher end cars.

Yeah that parts great. I love the car; will never buy anything but a hybrid or EV again.

Looking to buy a 2020 Advanced sometime this year, during the holiday season. Planning on a one way drive back.
Iam in TX and i am realizing we don't get the same Toyota Rebates as everyone else.
Having said that - Does anyone know what the rebates generally are during December and which states usually have the best discounts?

Quick question, how do I find the correct inventory for a given color and trim without going to each dealer website? I used buyatoyota, but it asks for the zip code and when I enter that, it shows the nearest dealer so the car, but when I go to that dealer’s website, they don’t have the car...

you literally have to check each and every dealer's website.

Heritage Toyota. This is without Uber or Triathlon. I told them James Buckley (JJBuckley) referred me to them and asked them to mirror his quote (without uber/triathlon). Thanks to JJBuckley.

For the previous year, look through this thread around page 48.

Oh - and I think you are looking for a 2020 Limited rather than Advanced.
I think someone on here bought in the northeast and had it shipped to TX if you don't want to drive that far.

I have to point out the irony of your screen name and your advice.... but, alas, I think you are right.... I'd really like the tax break this year, and I want to use the Uber rebate AND I have noticed that often as rebates go up, dealer discounts go down. So - no - I'm not in a huge hurry, so - yes - I should wait at least until next month. Thanks for talking me down.

Autotrader and cars.com are pretty good. You can also use cargurus.com or autotempest.com Also I'm pretty sure that there are some cars that don't show up in Toyota's online inventory system that dealerships are able to search.

    This is great info, thanks!

What's the best dealer discount people are getting in CT (NE area)? Most places I've called/emailed have been pretty lean, only offering me $600 off plus the Toyota incentive. I live in NC where there is no incentive at all and want to drive somewhere to get a better deal. Thanks in advance!

it's all supply and demand. we don't know how high rebates and discounts will go, because they have been in short supply compared to previous years.

Short supply? I have been researching prices and watching a large inventory of dealerships for months now. Their VINs and stock numbers are all staying the same over the last few months. The "Short supply" you're seeing is in the states where the dealers are just not stocking them. Don't let their sales tricks fool you. That's not a supply issue.. that is dealers in a region not being incentivized to sell.

Check out the size of rebates that Toyota is offering to fleet, executives, government, and livery.
