    How to deal with low regeneration charging . Just got a 2020 Prime and it stops charging at 25 kms (15 miles)
    My 2019 cut out at 37 kms (23 miles) . Can this be rectified ?
    Looks like Toyota being overly cautious again !

    Are you talking about the CHARGE MODE? If so, it only allows to charge up to 80% SOC (shown on MID if you select that option). Maybe 25 kms (15 miles) you are seeing on GOM (Guess-O-Meter which shows estimated EV range) does correspond to 80% SOC of traction battery? Your 2019 (assuming it is also PRIME), must have had a longer EV range showing on GOM, but still was 80% SOC.

    thanks for answered my question ..... and yes Charge Mode and the 19 was a Prime I noticed the difference because the 20 seems very slow with recharging... at least appears to be slow. Guess 80% is 80% Thanks!

    What are you expecting to see instead of
    25 kms (15 miles) My 2019 cut out at 37 kms (23 miles) ?
    And how long is it taking you to regenerate? 30 minutes?

    Seems to take forever compared to the 2019. Probably 45 minutes but I've not timed it .. I will

    I only use charge mode occasionally, it seems to works best for me at about 35 mph.

    Think I got the correct answer ... simply put the battery charging system cuts out at 80% while driving and charging. . So the accuracy of the gauge is the real thing in question ... Thanks all
