    Hi
I have prius 2010 and recently two button on the wheel stop working, TRIP & DISP, i cannot change the TRIP and reseting oil maintenance message, do you guys know another way to reset oil maintenance? i mean another way with OBD and command?
I went to mechanic shop but they couldn't reset it.
so if anyone now the another method, please post it.

    Thank you

::: Please do not post this method, mine is not going to TRIP A because the key is not working :::
    • Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine
    • Press the TRIP button on the steering wheel until you see “TRIP A” on the display
    • Next, turn the ignition “OFF”
    • Press the START button without touching the break and while holding the km/h MPH button.
    • Keep holding the km/h MPH button while the reset is in progress and until you are told that the reset is complete.

Any plans to get the clock spring replaced or buttons fixed?

You could try pulling the 12 volt lead and it should reset the message.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Yes, I downloaded a manual for my car, but the same, "only for USA version".
I understand that reseting maintenance data is available only for USA cars...

You should try to download the user manual from the European site. In Europe we have the maintenance reminder set up in the head unit, you shoukd be able to reset there.
What is the number of year head unit - right bottim corner, not on the screen?

No, I don't have this message on the screen, but, since I changed oil, I think that a reset will be appropriate...

Attila, thank you for your message, you are right, I took the manual from US website, I try now to get it from european website...
This is my head unit number.

The reason is I changed oil these days...
And of course I can wait to reach 12-15000 km (I keep a very accurate track of km) but I like to do it as manufacturer thought...

So you have the 59014 head unit.
If the head unit is what was originally installed, then you can get the manual from Toyota Europe page by entering your VIN.
Update: And I’m quite sure it doesn’t keep service intervall.

I understand, but I’m still wondering what it is you’re resetting if you don’t get a message or light or some other indicators

Because I want to start from zero, as I changed oil now...
Before me, I don't know when the oil was changed, or when the reset was done...
    PS
Entering my VIN on that Europe website it gives me only Navigation manual... not owner manual...

Download that one, if there is a way to enter reminder for the oil change, it will be documented in it.
But I’m quite sure there is no such option.
(I have the newer JBL model with 6” display - like yours - but I have no such option. Even the 7” B9038 has only reminder - if you set it.)

I could be wrong, but I think you’re misunderstanding how the reminder system works, at least in the us

In order to clarify this, I think that the reminder will signal when the 10000-15000 km are expired...
So, if I reset today, after 10000-15000 km the system will notify me by lightening a SYST REQD or whatever else led in DASH...
    Am I wrong?
