Can you mix same type, different brand coolants?

    I was installing a catch can the other day, and accidentally pulled the wrong tube which let out some coolant. Now the coolant level is barely above the minimum mark. Anyways, I was wondering if I could add different brand HOAT coolant, I know I can't mix different types of coolant (OAT/IAT/HOAT), but can I mix different brands of the same type?

    The Asian Vehicle Red, or the newer one that's $12 at walmart that's for Toyotas, but if you want to maximize the lifespan of the vehicle and use it in hot weather often, then spending $30 for Toyota OEM might be worth it, but also might be a waste of $20. Hard to say for certain.
