Yes I drive in eco mode. And no I have no clue about altitudes. Just sharing the details of my drive.

    I go roughly 15 miles at 45 mph...then 10 miles at 60 mph...then 15 miles at 80 mph...then 15 miles at 65mph.

Not very hilly or mountainous. I saw your calculation in a separate post and I'm impressed! If you want/need any data from my car I can try to take screen shots for you.

You can easily see the altitudes in Google Earth. Just hover the mouse over the locations. You can change between meters and feet in the menu on the upper left. Even a few hundred feet of altitude change between two locations makes a big difference in mpg, as you're being helped by or working against the gravity.

When you’re negotiating from out of state, do you get the final pricing breakdown like you’ve shown here, and that’s good enough to fly in for pick up?
Did you give a deposit to hold it?

also, the rebate line on the first invoice says $2000. Is that the cash back plus another offer?
    Thx!

How do I locate the dealers honoring the Uber and Triathlon rebates? Is it just checking individual sites? I’ve seen some locally that have them listed, then others I’ve asked or looked online and they don’t have it or know about it.

Second question- what’s the expectation on the cash back offers for end of year? It’s $1500 now, but is the thinking that it’ll go up or at least continue? thanks!

Hi Kim: in CA many have it posted under specials or incentives. I’ve had to tell many others about it. All said they’d honor the triathlon one (I didn’t try for Uber). I get my new car today!

Toyota website says no 2020 Primes available at all in my area (Atlanta)? Is this real or just a glitch?

I live in North Carolina and drove to Maryland to get my 2017 Prime. (I could have driven a little less to get one in Virginia.) There were no new Primes available in NC. The salesman in Maryland told me that the person who is the head of the Southeastern Toyota dealership organization made the people at the top of the Toyota Corporation angry somehow and so Toyota would not ship any Prius Primes to the Southeastern dealers. This may not be the full explanation (or even the right explanation), but I do know that at the end of 2017 there were no Prius Primes at southeastern dealerships, and that is probably still the case. You might need to drive to parts north of NC and Tennessee to buy one.

If anyone wants my retail sheet you can message me directly for it.

In Short $3600 dealer discount. I did get an additional $1500 customer cash and both the $750 and $500 Uber/triathlon discounts. So basically got $6350 off. I'm located in San Diego.

What do you have to provide to get the Uber discount? Is it issued through Toyota or Uber?

Nice. We share info on this thread in order for other users to take that and then go and work their deals. Everyone has to put in work. The shared info helps us all.

Another thing I did do, though, was to give a positive review to all of the salespeople/dealers who provided competitive and responsive pricing to my inquiries. Even though we did not purchase from them, they helped us out and deserved some credit, in my opinion.

This is through Toyota. They will need to have you log in and show your "Active" uber status. If you apply to drive, you will be accepted. You never have to drive for Uber to get the discount.

For some reason, Uber’ s sign up page is down. Ugh.
I emailed a few dealers and got this offer, good for 72 hours, which is too fast for me. ( I want to see if Toyota increases that $1500 cash back after 11/4)

    2020 prime XLE
MSRP: $30,918, which includes the $955 delivery fee, door edge guards and all weather liners, which I wanted, plus the rear decal, for $79, I could do without, but it’s on the car.

    Dealer discount: $2,854
    Cash back: $1500
They have the Uber driver rebate:$ 750
$25,814 , plus tax, registration and $359 doc fee.

This is with me not even pushing for anything. Seems a good deal.
No trade in mentioned. I’ll sell my Gen 2 on here.
I’ve got financing approved through AAA. I didn’t tell the dealer that. If they mandate financing through them for the cash back, I walk. Not dealing with that because not all dealers pull that move. I know I can refinance later but the rate is higher than if I outright go with AAA.
    thoughts?

^if you have a week or so, sign up for Uber. Its another $750 off the best deal you can negotiate. Its from Toyota, so it doesn't cost the dealer a thing.
That's not a bad deal. We jumped on ours b/c we got a great price and its an unknown if the $1500 current cash on Primes goes away or increases after 11/4 - a gamble. Prius sales are slow this year and all new cars sales have slowed also. It is likely you can still get a great deal, especially towards the end of the year...

I’m thinking the same. Wait to sign up with Uber - their site server is still saying it’s down - and I’m willing to gamble on a bigger cash back after 11/4. if they sell the one I want, I’ll look elsewhere. The dealers are definitely more desperate than me, lol.

Not a joke, It's a choice. I've helped a lot of people this month get serious discounts over what they could negotiate on their own. Note: I didn't get anything from it, as it was their choice, and that's fine. As for the rebate, that did help me quite a bit, thanks.
They required financing for me. Wouldn't give me either of the two rebates without it. I'll have to pay the first payment and then can refinance or pay it off.

You were straight up lied to so they could make money off you financing. The $1,500, UBER & USAT discount are available to cash payers. I’ve attached another copy of the Uber discount page directly from Toyota.

Hi. I posted a deal last week that fell through. Dealer totally ghosted me after agreeing on a price. Here’s the deal I got from another in Sacto. Great experience. 2020 LE:

MSRP 29167 floor mats bumper appliqué roof rails
    Dealer discount 3167
    CA rebate 1500
    Triathlon 500
    100 fees
24104 out the door. Will pay tax tomorrow in NV (bought in CA). Super happy with deal.
