Hi - Does anyone know if carrying more people / things decreases your eco-score? It seems to me like I get significantly lower scores with a full car, even though I drive the same way. For instance, my typical scores range from 83-96, but in a full car trip I get 75.

    Thanks!

The computer doesn’t factor in your passenger or cargo load. Your scores will drop when you haul.

I always thought it should be opposite: use the occupancy detectors that are already on board for seatbelt/airbag purposes, and give additional credit when sharing the experience instead of hauling empty seats.

agreed, but isn't it just basing the score on mpg?

Thanks! Nice to have my intuition confirmed. I'd definitely agree on the use of occupancy sensors in the algorithm. Would be a smart improvement.
