Any luck slowing oil burning with a stop leak (lucas, blue devil, bars, etc.)

Been really slacking on this "experiment" and have probably done a couple more oil changes without updating.
Last 2 changes did not use the oil treatment and just went with cheapest $25 out-the-door oil change.

I checked my oil today at 2100 miles from the oil change. A speck of dark oil on the very edge of the dipstick lol. I poured quite a bit of oil out of a gallon jug laying around. Probably somewhere between 2.5 and 3 quarts would be my guess?

I'm approaching 220k miles I don't even look at the odometer I always have the trip set to display but I think I'm somewhere around 217k miles still runs flawless just eats oil.

My conclusion is with the oil treatment I will be very low at 3k miles. Without the oil treatment I'm very low at 2k miles. So makes a modest improvement but still kinda pointless.

 

Quick update. Began thread with 205k miles. It now has about 227k miles and I really stopped paying too much attention and have been doing the cheapest $25 5W30 oil changes WITHOUT an additive.

I recently checked dipstick 2000 miles after change. Nothing on it! Took out a 1 gallon jug and dumped most of it in to get back to full. My estimate at least 3 quarts low just 2k after changing oil! And still running like a champ with just a quart. So now I have to monitor the situation closely even though I tend to get a little lazier going into winter with checking.

This Prius is cleaner and better-running than 90% in that sub $5000 range but I think I'd struggle to get about $2800 and it's worth more to me than that so I'll just continue to drive it:

 

So final update I think I'm losing at least 3 quarts in 2500 miles. Motor still runs great just burns like crazy (very close to 230k miles).

Been lazy to check and last night, at about 2500 miles driven, very briefly when driving the red triangle flicked on/off and info screen said problem (but this was so quick if you blinked you would have missed it).

Immediately checked oil and nothing on dipstick added about 4 quarts and this was about 2500-2600 miles after last change.....Was probably running (like a dream) with a half to 1 quart.

So now I'm going to add every 1500-2000 miles and since the oil will be changing itself I'll probably go 5 or 6k miles before changing at a shop because I'll be adding multiple times in between.

 

starts with 4 quarts and 2-3 will disappear and a new 2-3 will go in. So going every 5k miles instead of 3k makes decent sense to me.

My mechanic will charge $400 to swap the motor. As seen in pics above it is in $5000-$5500 condition but due to the reading on the odometer (+200k) it is only worth 2.5k --- so yes, I will continue to "run it into the ground".

Used low mileage motors on gen 2 priuses sell for $200 to $250 so I would never junk such a beautiful car over a $600 to $650 repair (engine replacement).

It costs $500 just for Michellin tires so I find it so amusing when people freak out over very simple (and cheap) repairs like the hybrid battery going bad (also a $500 repair buying used) or an engine going bad....
