Video review posted today. First time I've heard our Prime called a supercar. His review is pretty on track. Thanks for highlighting the carbon fiber hatch ! [ Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yes, he did a good job summarizing our frustrations with the 11.6" Tesla killer. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I'll bet that guy was more than a bit frustrated by that cluttered dash. I'm thinking he's definitely not a hypermiler - you know the kind that wants to know what all those gauges are. I saw him flick through the screens near the end, but not a word even about how many there were. Dang, even if he didn't know what they were, at least he could have counted them for us. LOL Toyota spared no expense in providing a gauge for everyone to look at and a few that people even use now and again.
Well, why not? Where I live, the sight of a Prius Prime is quite unusual, often (last time Sunday, in front of the curch) I catch intrigued people walking around my Prime parked, trying to understand what kind of car it is... doesn't it happen the same with Ferrari, Lamborghini or other supercars? Sorry. That black cow catcher grille is too much ugly for me. I remember one morning seeing one approaching me. My thoughts went like this. That is one ugly Lexus. It's a Toyota?? (Looking in side mirror) Oh! It's a Prime.
No accounting for taste. eeewwwww! what does a cow catcher look like anyway? LOL And All Night Long! Yeah!
Even though you’ve posted this photo before, I just realised that you don’t have parking lights in Italy! It’s the same in Japan. But in North America, we require front and rear parking lights (small lights that are visible from the side of the car at night when the headlights are on or when the switch is one click up from OFF light you have it in the photo).
You are right... but being parking lights IMO are somewhat anachronistic: during my frequent business trips in the States, I never had the chance to spot a parked car with its parking lights on.
Cheap and vastly more efficient. 25 mile EPA EV range vs 15. And a 54 mpg EPA vs 28. And then there that price!! Roughly $100,000 more than a Prime Advanced/Limited. source = BMW i8 - Wikipedia I guess that's why I call them Big Money Wasters.
