I am hoping for some help on a question I have. Is there a way to find out the total MPG on my 2018 Prius C, similar to the picture below from the regular Prius? Since I bought my Prius C two years ago, I never changed "Trip A" on the odometer, keeping that one for total miles and MPG. But last month when I got an oil change for some reason the technician reset my "Trip A" to 0. I went through my manual, but unfortunately can't seem to find any setting on the Prius C showing total accumulated MPG on the car - only total miles. Any assistance would be most appreciated, thanks!

Make a spreadsheet and enter the latest data each time you fill the tank...

What the Prius c shows are optimistic. Your real mpg is lower than shown.

I don't recognize that display from my regular Prius. Did this picture come from something newer than your model, i.e. a Gen4? Or a 'v'?

I'm unaware of a lifetime MPG display on my Gen3.

It is very easy to fumble-finger and clear Trip A when resetting the maintenance reminder, so this isn't a safe way to keep track. On my very first Prius service, the tech went further and fumble-fingered a reset of Trip B too.

I keep a paper log book, to be entered into a spreadsheet when convenient.

I don't think it saves it in a place that you can get back.
BUT......except for curiosity, it is a pretty worthless number anyway.
After a few thousand miles, the average would change VERY slowly.

The C's are not exactly known for their mileage, surprised there is even a section for them on the chat.

While a Prius c is challenged in highway mileage, they are fine city cars.

We have sections for Teslas, HyHi's, Fords, and non hybrids as well, we try not to judge.
(I am biased against BAS hybrids, but I try not to let it show)

Sure they are. IF you drive them the way they were intended, which is very little on freeways at high speeds.
I'm surprised that they let narrow minded people even have computers at all.

Weird... I get 75mpg (32km/l) on my daily commute, and my best tank was something like 89mpg (38km/l).

I have a "c" and a gen3 and my "c" gets better mpg daily and overall, short or long trips.

Wrong they get a lot worse than the non C, so quit trying to argue a non valid point.

I have no idea where stylinnnn is getting his 'facts' but the c is very competitive with the liftback at less than freeway speeds. There is no point to slamming the c.

It hasn't been updated in a long while, but Mark Abele's "Top 20 MPG" thread includes several C drivers:

In that list with provable pics, the "c" takes the cake with 5 out of the top 7, including numero uno spot @ 99.9 mpg darn.

If any place on the net is going to show us the true mileage reports it's where everyone records it. So lets go have a look.

    Regular Prius models http://www.fuelly.com/car/toyota/prius/all
Average looks to be about 45 mpg.
49 mpg if you remove those old Prius models and compare 2012 to the present (2012 is when the C was released here).
This is the average of 227.6 million miles recorded

Prius C Toyota Prius C MPG - Actual MPG from 1,896 Toyota Prius C owners
Average mpg's is right at 47 mpg.
This is the average of 32.7 million miles
