As I said, mine was virtually free give-away. Since you don't own any ONE+ tools, it makes no sense to buy all of those batteries and chargers just for the inflator. If you already own other ONE+ tools with batteries and a charger, it is a cheap but very useful tool to have in hand.

Yeah, good points. I'm a bit of a luddite about the whole battery operated power tools, so far.

I used to care, that Chevron had free air. Then I picked up a hand pump, and gradually that took over. Too, the last few times I got air at Chevron, it was actually kinda alarming: the compressor was so weak things came to a standstill, around 36 psi.

Then a week or two back, my son was asking who it was that has free air, and sent him to Chevron, and surprise surprise: $1.50 for 5 minutes.

Corporations don't seem to get it, that if you nickle-and-dime potential customers, they can walk.

A good number of the air stations have a button on the back of the unit which, when pressed two or three times, turns the compressor on. HEY PRESTO! Free air!

Just received this 12V inflator free from DBPower by purchasing JumpStart power bank mentioned in Tire inflator recommendations | PriusChat and registering it on-line. IMG_20190902_120027.jpg

Great deal if you plan to buy both a jump starter and an inflator. With coupon applied, $70 for both units. Not the premium heavy-duty pump, but feel more solid than many ~$10 cheapies.

I guess I'm an outlier, but I just find/use free air at a local gas station or auto shop. I also keep a healthy pile of quarters in my Prime in case I'm on a trip and have to use a pay one (and to pay tolls before I got my ez-pass).

Yeah, but all those quarters won't do any good if you have flat on a road and you have to inflate the tire after plugging it. I think that was what OP intended to use the inflator.;)

I have used and liked the Kensun tire inflator. It's a bit pricy at $60 but it does what it says. Has a auto shut off at the prescribed pressure. You set it and it turns off. I like it so much that when the first one got stolen, I bought another one... YMMV
