Since the only spoiler of Mother Earth is us, total annihilation would definitely save the World. But how do we still save the rest of the Animal Life, the innocent ones?

Animals know not either guilt nor innocence, but live totally by instinct. Carnivorous animals eat other animals only to survive. It’s natural for them. Almost every creature is either a predator or/and a victim. But all of them
help to enrich the World ( unknowingly ) Whereas we, knowingly help destroy the World. We, the guardians of the World. Nothing like driving down an interstate, that was just picked up a few days ago and seeing new garbage building. Again. Our carbon footprint. Ca highways are pigpens. How’s your state?

But then many of the ones we eat are actually products of our intervention. They may not survive if released into the wild, at worse, or have the impact of an invasive species, at best.

I couldn't tell the difference with all the fixin's. I understand White Castle has offered this product for years.
The term plants includes yeast and/or fungus. The heme compound that is the reason why this substitute is so meat like isn't found in high enough amounts in plants. It is 'farmed' from a GMO yeast or fungus.

 

Lions in the wild kill for practice when there is plenty of food.
Male lions kill the cubs of a pride they are taking over because of the wrong genes, not to eat.
But I guess that is species survival not individual survival.
And I guess you could call practice hunting survival too since it is easier to practice when you aren't hungry.

I was skeptical at first, and have also not found an acceptable non-EtOH beer. But would argue Impossible and Beyond are not too shabby of imitations compared to prior vegan patty iterations.

According to a study published recently in JAMA, vegetarians live longer than meat eaters. The effect is largest with heart disease, significant with diabetes, and doesn't seem to affect cancer.

So "end of story"? Yeah, about 8 years shorter life.
