That's the problem with these iSeeCars reports, they are just a narrow snapshot. Another model could have been driven further, but the high mileage examples were sold at 9 and 11 years of age.

That's because the media and public don't know the difference between a study put out by anyone and a peer reviewed study.

iSeeCars may actually do some solid research into the data they have, but you have to pay for it.

 

If you're not trying to inform and educate the great unwashed masses....WHY do the study?

 

Because some 'studies' are carefully crafted propaganda.

 

Publish or perish....

 

Most of the fields for which that is true are referring to being published in peer reviewed journals.

 

They must be pretty loud with all those missing catalytic converters.
