It has come to my attention that my spark plugs are most likely more than due for a change. I have my hands on a set of Brisk P7 but are they good for a 2008 gen 2? Various cross reference pages says yes but I would like to know if anyone have real experience running these in a Gen 2.
Never heard of them before, or "as seen on TV". Unless they were free or you already have a set, just go OEM for another 150k+
no, I've never heard of them. everything i've read here says stick with oem if you don't want problems
Yes NGK IFR5A11 or DENSO SK16R11 I had the oddest experience changing the plugs on my Tacoma v6 engine Saturday. The 3 plugs on the passenger side were DENSO and the 3 plugs on the drivers side were NGK. I have only seen that one other time. When I was changing the factory plugs on my friends Tacoma. Different v6 engine though. It was my dads truck so I guess they could have been the originals, but 247,000 miles on the original plugs? I have changed a lot of spark plugs in my life and those were the most worn ones I have ever seen. I don’t know how the thing ran the gap was so big.
