I installed interior LED bulbs. These:

They were as expected, pure white color, about the same brightness as stock halogens. Mostly followed this video:

The center light and vanity lights were hard to pry off. But what I liked about the kit I bought is it came with a plastic trim prying tool. Not bad for $11. I did the doors, vanity lights, cargo light, map lights and rear dome light. I have 1 festoon and 1 t10 light left. Any other lights I can change with them?

I did the same thing and I think it looks much better. The only ones I didn't change were the ones in the foot wells, my body doesn't bend well enough to get in there. lol

The footwells are already LEDs. And I could be wrong, but they seem to match the new pure white color of the LEDs I installed. I could have sworn they were yellow before. Will need to look more closely.

Maybe they went LED in the 2019 Advanced but the 2017 Premium is definitely yellow.

just wanted to give a heads up to anyone buying these bulbs, that one of them (a t10) caused my dome fuse to blow (about a day later and coincidentally after getting tint), and I ended up learning quite a bit more about changing out fuses and reinstalling the lights than i thought i need to right now. one upside, is the kit came with 1 spare t10, so i installed that and went through a few busmann fuses, but it's all good now. Thread for reference: Interior lights not working after getting tint? | PriusChat

What would be an appropriate amazon rating to leave? I mean the bulbs fit and I suppose any kit could have a bad one in it, but doesn't feel like a 5 star product anymore.

Also, what did I do to my Prime? Huper Optik ceramic all around, 35% on rear, 70% clear on fronts and windshield ($375 installed). $5 worth of Bussmann fuses.

We saw one like yours Friday at a mall here. Thought for a second that you'd taken a big road trip till I noticed the Advanced trim accouterments on the back bumper and the FL plate. LOL! Primes are still extremely rare here, but I think they're on the increase.

No road trips to the least coast;).

But we did end up at the ocean yesterday on the best coast:):

The beaches out here are much different than the ones out your way (the high at Doran Beach was about 70 and the marine layer never really left).

But a nice cool getaway (y).

Yup, very different. I think you can walk out here about 12 miles and not get your shoulders wet. LOL! And the water temperature here today is 86F. No California Current here!! LOL! No surf either. No reef or clear water despite the name of the famous beach. Pretty boring, imho.

I heard the Toyota emblem makes for a lot of drag. I'm thinking of going with the Trabant livery. Should be good for 100 mpg. ;)

Early this morning I heard that tell tale tap, tap, tap just one block from my house. pulled over and looked before it got worse and found a nice little present.

    20190729_062621.jpg

So I drove the block back home and called on my trusty friends to help.

    20190729_065810.jpg

It was a rear tire so I quickly jacked it up from the side with the help of my Potauto magnetic slotted jack pad, quickly reamed and plugged it using my Boulder tools plug kit.

    20190729_063216.jpg
    20190729_064110.jpg

10 minutes and it was done. I've done enough of these on other vehicles that I only lost 0.5 PSI. I topped it off with my Viair 87P compressor that resides in the Prime with the plug kit.

Almost 30,000 miles and this is my first tire puncture on the Prime. Note the still very healthy tread depth on the original factory Toyo's.

99% of the punctures I've gotten over the years are screws and every one of them was on a rear tire. I believe the front tire disturbs the position of the screw so it easily goes into the rear tire.

Before the haters jump on the Toyo's, I've had the same thing happen on extremely deep tread BFG AT's, Michelins, etc. A sharp screw wins every time.

This is a culmination post of all the things I've done to my Prime. I drive a lot, so I wanted to take some precautions on protecting the paint and longevity of the car.

    I checkout your wheels& they look nice, looks like they're 17x8", ET35, & Hub Bore 72.0 at 18 lbs each. Are you running 215*/45-17's or 225/45-17's ?

Also, are you running 54.1 to 72.0 hub rings ?

    Rob43

    * I'm guessing 215's...
