This afternoon as I was running my usual chores, I realized my Std. Rng. Plus Model 3 is boring. Acceleration is predictable, even in 'chill' mode. Traffic lights turning green, after a while beating the honorable competition is predictable. Cross country driving is also predictable and affordable. So much storage space, it has huge volume to carry a bunch. She rides nice and steers herself nicely without 'Sturm und Wut.' In contrast, there was always something with our Prius or BMW i3-REx. Not objectionable as much as 'what are we going to do today?' Bob Wilson
i think i passed it when prime came out. it might come back if they ever lower the hatch, but i might be in a bev by then (or a grave)
Do you mean lower the floor in the back? Storage is a lot worse than the Gen3, but you’ve got a PIP already so you’re used to lack of rear storage space . For your normal driving, a BEV makes complete sense though. So worth the wait.
but pip at least has the lower floor. i don't miss the storage underneath. it really is the perfect car. (okay, i would love a heat pump)
The black cloth in the Prime does get warm this time of year though. But the tint on all glass helps in its absence . The RX450h spoils us.
Ah good attempt by Lexus to throw some shade. Now once they have a BEV, I bet that ad campaign will be mentioned. But a quiet, cool ride is welcome from time to time.
After 1 hr, 20 min on a SuperCharger, you get billed "idling fees" with no additional electricity. This is with my Std. Rng. Plus Model 3. Bob Wilson
I was at a ChargePoint station today and began to get idling fees . Let’s just say the $1 an hour was cut short after the first 8 cents was billed.
our plugin Pacifica has 'em .... on a hot day? wow -having cool air blowing up your mid & lower back & yer bung? nothing better. no true'er words were ever spoken by an old sweaty person. .
