Thank you Rob. I think I am going to try the 3MM route first. Any recommened ones you have for that?

I am running stock wheels for my 2017 prius prime so whatever the standard lugnuts come with it. Wasnt planning to change the lugnuts to install to the new used FRS wheels. Sorry dont have a pic right now since I am at work.

This is awesome. Thanks for posting these pictures with the exact weight. Did you have a chance to weight the stock tires/wheels?

    OK.

So after thinking about your current aftermarket wheels, I believe that they should workout just fine for your application. The only slight concern I have is spreading a 215/45-17 tire over 8", it does fall within the published specs of the tire, but you will need to be VERY careful when parking because you don't want to "curb" your wheels. The up side is the tire gets maximum support, so handling will be at its pinnacle.

    A few things:

    1) You need 54.1 to 72.6 hub rings, these are cheap & will work perfectly:
    www.ebay.com/itm/4-Plastic-Hubcentric-Rings-54-1-54-Hub-to-72-6-72-56-Wheel-Hubrings/331286914375?hash=item4d223d2547:g:ftcAAOSw6xVcx1nC
    2) You will need a new set of 20 lug nuts with a 60 degree seat, your stock lug nuts won't work. I bought these Extended Length (ET) from DP Accessories & their quality is very good. (These are an example, don't buy them) www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QLINUQQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You shouldn't require "ET" lug nuts because I don't you'll need any type of wheel spacers, so buy the normal non-ET lug nuts. I WOULD CONTACT the wheel manufacturer to see if they recommend a "Tuner" (smaller diameter) lug nut.
Regular width 60 degree seat: www.amazon.com/DPAccessories-D3116-HT-2305-20-Chrome-12x1-5/dp/B00H1IBKIK/ref=pd_cp_263_1?pd_rd_w=R54f0&pf_rd_p=ef4dc990-a9ca-4945-ae0b-f8d549198ed6&pf_rd_r=8HT30F4RYS2Z01DY9JSS&pd_rd_r=363ea177-a8d7-11e9-a213-f70688893b5a&pd_rd_wg=iEEMZ&pd_rd_i=B00H1IBKIK&psc=1&refRID=8HT30F4RYS2Z01DY9JSS
"Tuner" (smaller diameter) width 60 degree seat: www.amazon.com/DPAccessories-LCS3A6HC2CH04020-Chrome-12x1-5-Aftermarket/dp/B00JNEBS64/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=DPAccessories+20+Chrome+12x1.5+Closed+End+ET+Spline+Tuner+Lug+Nuts&qid=1563398696&s=automotive&sr=1-1

    3) Tires: the DWS-06 is a great tire & I have personally recommended it to friends for years, BUT...
Continental owns General Tire, General Tire came out with the AS-05 about 1 year after the DWS-06, the AS-05 is the same tire as the DWS-06 but with newer updates based on its release date. The General AS-05 is a true winner, not to mention a lot cheaper to buy than the DWS-06. I personally run the AS-05 on our 2013 Prius V & Prime. Conclusion, pick either of these great tires, Don't buy the General Altimax RT43 because it simply won't perform on the same level as the AS-05 or DWS-06.

Recap: Call or Email the wheel manufacturer about the lug hole diameter, the linked lug nuts are 20mm & 22mm's in diameter with your needed 60 degree conical seat. Edit: if you can fit a standard 19mm socket into the lug holes, the 22.1mm lugs will work.

Yes, but first try this because it's pretty simple & effective:

Take off one wheel & add a 3mm tall stack of 12 or 13mm Inside Diameter (ID) washers to 3 out of the 5 lug bolts in a triangle, these washers will simulate your 3mm thick spacers. Then re-mount your wheel & tighten the 3 lug bolts/nuts that have the washers, all you need is a mild (don't kill it) hand/wrench tightening. Now check if you have some clearance, if you get roughly 2 to 3mm's of clearance you should be good to go.

I would buy #1 based on the price.
    1) 5x100, 57mm CB, 3mm Spacers, you need 2 sets, ~$16
    www.ebay.com/itm/2-Hub-Centric-Wheel-Spacers-3mm-5x100-57-1-57mm/333246757718?hash=item4d970dfb56:g:b3EAAOSwq05dEarI

    2) 5x100, 54.1mm CB, 3mm Spacers, you need 2 sets, ~$64
    www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CLYZHGO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1QFOTVL5TFT3C&psc=1

    3) Don't forget to buy those hub rings.

Have a 3 week old 2019 Prime Advanced in Magnetic Gray. Read through this and believe these wheels will work with OE tires and TPMS but would appreciate a confirmation.

    DRAG
    DR-69
15 X6.5 5-100.00/114.30 40 offset BKMTXX (weight is 15.8 lbs) and I would need hub rings as the hub is 73. Did I miss anything?

I did not. Once i get the spacers and try again, I'll weigh them and send back.

I have 18” drag dr 69 with the factory tpms installed with 225/40/18 and they are very close to factory diameter. You will love the look I get a lot of compliments

I drive 120 miles round trip a day on freeway in HV. On the dash it shows I have lost about 8-10 miles mpg. I would normally go 4 days back and forth and fuel up on the fifth day with 1 bar left on the forth day. Now I still fill up on the fifth day but now I don’t have a full bar left.only about 1/2 a bar left.

When you buy into the RS-R springs, can you please provide the PriusChat community with drop measurements ?

This would only require a few minutes, you would take an accurate measurement from the center of the axle (center cap) up to the fender lip on each wheel while your Prime sits on a flat surface.

    ^ They Look Great !

I bet they feel awesome compared to the horribly "floaty" OE 195/65-15's, I know my 205/50-17's completely transformed our Prime.

If you ever want to add spacers, I found the perfect 5x100 / 5.2mm hub centric (54.1 to 73.1) spacers. You'd need to buy new ET spline lug nuts to make them work properly, total cost is about ~$105 shipped for both.

Finally got some time to mount the Frs wheels and weigh the stock ones. See pics.

@Rob43 - thanks for all your help. Wound up being able to use the 3mm spacers and it was enough clearance. I would say about 1.5-2mm clearance from calipers and i test drove it around and didnt seem to have any problems. Not loving the stock lugs and how they look on the wheels but will likely change them later.

    You are very welcome.

~2mm's is close, I ran a car a long time ago with about the same clearance, they would slightly touch on harder turns. If you get any noise from your setup, the easiest thing to do is dab some paint on the brake caliper where you think they're touching. Once you establish the exact rubbing spot, hand file about 1mm off the caliper, this should give you what you need in clearance.

Did you get about ~8 turns of lug nut engagement with your new 3mm spacers ?
