That seems like quite a bit. My OCC only gets a couple of tablespoons of oil in it. And mine is closer to fresh oil colored. However the engine in mine is only at about 25k miles(12k at install and 13k on it since).

The instruction was sent via email and it was very easy to follow. And it literally took me ten minutes to do the install of the Red Bullet Solenoid. Thanks Max!

I think probably because I had an engine burning oil issue before, but now it seems to be going away after the EGR cleaning and using different type of motor oil with additive. So I'm hoping to see less oil in the next 5k miles.

Throttle happy? Or are we conservative
You are very welcome! I got to admit, I am really jelly about silver cars! I love silver looks shiny and so easy to stay clean! But my wife calls it "grey", so I am persuaded to buy a white car from now on... it was either the Asian persuasion or I sleep on the couch and get her another car. The problem is and will always be... she do not know how hard it is to keep white cars clean. I am going to die young... sleeping on the couch!

At the end of the day shopping we got a white car... but I still slept on the couch that night.... on our way home after not getting my silver car... I said "did you know that white is not classified as a color?" That got me the couch for the night.
Guys you know how hard it is to wax a white car? wax is white when dry and car is white. really hard to go over everything.

White, like black, is a shade, not colors.
Silver keeps the car cooler. I am SOOO happy I have a silver Prius! :) :)

My gold/sand colored one stays pretty cool too considering that it’s parked in the sun all the time. But that does help the solar roof keep the fan blowing. LoL

It would be nice to have that solar fan!
I did not expect it to NOT get that hot. Mine sits in the sun also. In Florida!
We've had record setting humidity this year. But it doesn't feel like I opened the oven when
I open the door. I get in and get it going to open the windows and get the a/c blowing.
It's take about a minute for it to start cooling and I can close the front windows.
About 2 minutes I can close the rear windows.
White absorbs the heat, and holds it. Black also absorbs the heat but dissipates the heat.
I guess silver(and gold/sand??) does something in between.
I don't care HOW it does it, I'm just happy it does!

Initially, I wanted a white Prius because it's a white pearl color. But I ended up with silver because it was the only color left with a solar roof option. Wasn't too happy with the color at the beginning, but now I'm glad I didn't get white one. The cleaning is easy and you can hardly tell it's dirty all the time and I'd say it's not as common as the white ones as well.

The white is a killer to keep clean. OMG the water lines you never see on a silver car is like glue on a white car. Impossible to clean like someone said its a 50 shade of grey story. Its nasty stuff I'm never getting a white car ever again!
Silver car get dirty looks like brown or yellow dust, white car gets dirty its black! So if you wash and missed a spot it shows! There is no way to sugar coat it.
Wait a second a solar fan! What is that you speak of? Sounds like alien tech!
I guess I cant get it as a addition once you buy a car that dont have it? Sounds like something amazing to keep the car cool by using exactly what is causing it to be hot.

On the Gen 3 with the moonroof/sunroof, the rear half of the roof panel is a solar panel. It provides enough energy to power the blower motor. There are modifications that have been done to allow the panel to power either a usb/charger port to allow daylight hours charging of cell phone or other devices, or charge the 12v battery. Due to regulations in the US, it’s not possible for the panel to directly charge the hybrid battery(if I correctly understand the other threads about it).

That is very cool! I hope they came out with a mini compressor too so the air comes out just a tad cooler but I guess any outside air will be cooler then the solar oven.
I thought the new prime testing the self solar charging hybrid is in testing right now.

When you get into a hot car, make sure the recirculate is NOT on. The car will cool quicker.
95 degree air cools a lot quicker than 125 degree air.

Happy Friday y’all. Finally getting some major suspension upgrades to my daily commuter.

I’ll try to get some decent pictures once it’s all done.

Well, I debated getting this done for a long time. With more than 147,000 miles on my original suspension, think it was just time to get it done.

conservative I guess. though I did kick it today and had her almost to 100. Seems to stick around 50mpg for me which is good with the 17s on it. also have the smartpedal and changed the setting to a 4.

    Pixel 3a XL ?
