35% doesn't seem very dark. Glad I saw that before I had mine done! :)

I don't understand why any tinting beyond that incorporated by the manufacturer is legal: maximum visibility is important.

It's been a little while, but I installed a matching set steering wheel/shifter carbon fiber in my 2011 performance plus IMG_20190312_160854662_HDR.jpeg

Here in Florida, darker means less SUN beating down on you.
Your rear tint seems darker, that's probably what I want. Is that 50%?

I'm in California. I'm going to get 5% on rear windows and 35% on front doors.

I’m pretty sure by the end of this year, my car won’t be lowered or have the rims anymore.

We do, just peel and stick on back hatch window. Take only a minute, nudes will last a lifetime.

Sound deadened my roof to finish off my soundproofing project. Wish I took more and better photos... but there's a nice one below of what the Prius looks like pre-soundproofing. Apologies on the bad quality on the other one. This is a Prius II with (no sunroof), at 50k miles currently. Overall, used 3.5 boxes of Dynamat (36 sq ft boxes) across the whole car. I also bought a box of "better" damplifier made by Second Skin, but I actually thought Dynamat did a better job than Second Skin due to the chemistry of the butyl; I experimented with two doors and the dynamat makes a much better cushy door close sound (this is subject to debate however)

Added Dynamat + a layer of 400-level 3M Thinsulate for temperature insulation. I was a total newbie to soundproofing, and doing this was a bit easier than I thought thanks to the guides from Prius chat. If anyone wants any tips for soundproofing various sections of the car, message me. I have done the hood, doors, trunk/cargo, floor. Wish I had decibel data to share.. My end ranking for places to soundproof if you had to prioritize: 1) Doors 2) Cargo/Trunk Wheel Well Area 3) Roof, if no sunroof 4) Floor [surprisingly a lot of factory deadening makes it pretty firm already] 5) Hood

The only other thing I can do now is add some mass-loaded deadeners like MLV or luxury liner pro to the floor, but that takes a bit more work and adds a lot of weight, and I think I am fine with the sound levels I am at now.
