Parking lock malfunction car won't start

    I was hooking up after market fan system and a a little short. Then car won't start shift to any position park neutral etc.
    Checked fuses all are good as far as I can tell. Can't read codes as port is not communicating to one reader. Any ways to fix this looked up old posts nothing helped yet.

    does anything work at all? dome lite? headlites? dash, etc?

    Yes dome lights buzzers door locks it trys to start but ready never comes on

    Does your car have a similar fuse box above the parking brake as the Prius in this video? Around the 3 minute mark, he shows where the OBD port gets power from a 7.5 amp fuse in that box.

    Tried pulling the 12 volt battery lead and seeing if that clears the system?
