    • Stamford, CT to Marco Island, FL - ~1,500 miles for @bisco
    • Hyundai Kona Compact SUV
    • Electrify America - he found them unreliable too but usable

wow, a lot of interior noise!

too long, too much music, not enough information

200 miles and an hour to charge partially? i'll be dead before reaching florida :p

looks like it is gonna be a long time before this country is ready to adopt electric driving in a meaningful way

I set my YouTube playback to 2x so it ran through much faster. I stopped it for the text but noticed he didn't include the costs.

    My Tesla protocol is:
    • ~120-150 mi, 2-2.5 hrs @65 mph
    • ~20-30 min charge and biology break
    • ~$2-4 for charge
The Tesla SuperChargers and our car supports a peak rate of ~104 kW which appears to often be twice the speed the Kona had on its trip. I got the impression it was frequently the charger limiting the rate but didn't really study it in detail. In the comments, I asked for the costs.

he mentioned that the first charger was free, but it was definitely slower than a supercharger

for me, 20 minutes would be tolerable, if it was right off 95, and there were overnight chargers at our hotels.
but we're not doing the scenic tour, the idea is to get to orlando in 3 days and 28 hours of driving.

we spend around $100. in gas, depending on price
