Well, Here's mine.. Traded off my 98 Lincoln Continental with 83K miles for this 2012 Prius II 2 days ago. Got the 48 mpg on the way home from Kalispell, MT .. mostly for the mileage and I sort of liked my neighbor's 05 Prius...
First Prius for me. 2015 Prius II w/ 24k miles. Threw on some tires and antenna and she was good to go.
Just got my first Prius, (a 2007 with about 95,000 miles) one week ago and I love it!!! I commute about 100 miles daily, got 51 mpg my first tank, even with some hills and mostly freeway driving. I'm already annoying myself/everyone I know with how much I talk about it but I can't stop, it's amazing! :-D
My ‘15 Prius II has been my daily driver for about two years, so technically not a new owner, but relatively new to the Prius forums. It’s a dealer-maintained car (with all paper trail), and I’m the second owner; purchased it with 52k miles on the clock, and I’ve driven it for 20k flawless miles. I’ve only done the following minor touches: - ceramic window tint - LED 6000K headlights - LED white bulb city lights that light up amber - LED 6000K plate lights - hideous hubcaps removal and replacement with OEM center caps. All of the above contribute to approximately an additional 5whp, particularly the additional +5psi of air per tire . Currently waiting on the OEM European mudguards to arrive and changing to 17” OEM Fives. I won’t be doing anything performance oriented considering this thing was designed to be slow, and it does what it was designed to do very well. A few shots below!
Just received and installed the Euro style mudguards - I like how they enhance the look of the car, and give the illusion of the car being slightly wider from certain angles ... oh, and they are actually functional.
As recommended by another forum member, burrowscarparts on eBay - they are out of the UK and have access to all the euro oem stuff. Quick shipment too by the way!
Thanks. Looks like they are in an upgrade and cannot sell right now. I’ll wait. “Due to system upgrades, we will not be processing any orders until Monday 17th June 2019.”
Ooh, nice. Do you think they affect mpg much? I've been looking to add a think or two, and these look pretty sweet. edit: A quick search shows that they don't really do much if anything to mpg.
I haven’t noticed a difference in regards to mpg...some people claim the effect may be within 0.1-0.2mpg, which is probably negligible if that’s the case. I like them and I think they are well worth it.
