Spring means longer daylight, blooming flowers and increased Prime EV miles after charging. Photo taken this morning. Oh, last gas station visit was last mid-February.

I used to see about that, or slightly less: 34.<some-odd>, but it plummeted to 25ish or so, about a year ago, after I went and kept it charged all night for a few months. It’s back up to 30ish though, now.

However, the guestimatron numbers I’ve seen have generally been a ... oh, 10-15%ish ... too optimistic. 19 miles to work (or back), but it usually requires more like 21-22 on the GoM to get there (without burning gas, I mean — eeew!).

However “that depends,” of course. The main favor it seems to depend up, not surprisingly, is speed. On those picky days it’s 65MPH the whole way, it does suck up the battery considerably more. Pretty accurate below 55ish.

We got a tease of spring, and my GoM got up to 32 and change. Alas, temps in my area of NY have once again plummeted to the 40s. I just made the round trip commute of 27.6 miles (0.1 miles left) by taking the back way to & from work yesterday, where the highest speed was 55 mph (mostly 30-45 mph).

After a long winter hiatus, finally, my GOM started showing >30 miles range. The actual EV miles have been ~32 miles for a week or so now. Yet, snow mixed precipitation in forecast.
