I sometimes get a hand signal in the form of “you’re #1”.

But I also give that out on occasion (y).

I've got no one else to show these to, so you guys get to see some Prius drag pictures.

Since removing my sound system last year, I'm trying to quiet the cabin noise a bit for long road trips. One of the projects is to add a third door seal, piecing it together from various cars. Started today with the OEM Gen 4 edge weatherstrip:

Next up will be the bottom edges, for which I'll probably use Lexus LS500 weatherstrip.

IMG_3919.JPG IMG_3921.JPG It finally warmed up here in Winnipeg and I was finally able to grind that sharp point off in my wheel wells, install my 19's and drop the car. I took the screws out as per @granTORRESmo suggestion. Painted the ground down part with some rubberized asphalt paint to prevent from rusting. Drove it to work today and still heard it rub but not as much as usual. Will check it in the morning after I get home home and see where it's still rubbing .

It's custom...haha! I think only you and I noticed. The PO was a jackass. I've ordered the "correct" factory mount that I will be using to straighten it once my new plates come in 42-96 months!!! Damn Cali DMVs...

I haven't driven the car yet since putting them on. I'm expecting little discernible difference until I get the rest of the edges weatherstripped too. They fit like factory except they're just a little short, so I think I'm going to buy one more to chop up and get the ~2" at the bottom of each door, then on to the rest of the panel edges.

Tint still allows visible spectrum light in, while the radiant barrier blocks all visible light transmission and most infrared. Plus, you need more than tint for camping:

Saving up to buy a house with a garage next year and need to put a big down payment much as possible to keep monthly payments low so I can host Prius meet ups also. Being single in this situation is a disadvantage.

By the way, have you seen a video on youtube with some guy at a car meetup in a parking garage that just finished having lunch and came back to the meet and completely drooled over a red prius with body kit but had lexus emblem? Thought it was yours. Seen that video yet?
