Dramatic throttle response change between EV and Hybrid modes

The road trip sounds like fun -you appear to be a keen photographer, so I hope you get some good opportunity to shoot - with the car in the foreground of course - maybe you could start car selfies!!

The furthest trip I tend to do is 250 miles to Cornwall to visit my son and family - but there are no real opportunities to charge and a 2hr lunch would be over the top even for me - there are a reasonable smattering of fast charge points in the UK but we have a long way to go - hence I chose the Prius and not an all electric car - enjoy your trip!

 

I decided to use the Power as the default setting when in Hybrid mode. This is the setting that is closest to EV mode.

 

There is a case for having the mode and power settings closer to hand - I find I have to really look down to locate them - not something I can do by touch - and often in situations where I don’t really want to take my attention of the road.
