So...was driving a few days ago and all of a sudden all the lights on the dash came on. CEL ABS VSC and the RED traingle.

Took to shop, ran diagnostic, codes that came up are
    PO327
    POA9
    P1121
    C1241
    C1378
    B1412
    B1421

P1122, has already been fixed a few months ago
This last time i took it to the shop they drained coolant, filled it and made sure there werent any air bubbles in the line. Cleared the codes and test drove it. Everything seemed fine. Been driving it for a couple of days and then boom, the lights all came back on.

Checked coolant levels, bc it was bone dry the first time this happened and coolant was fine.

Someone help. Taking it back to the shop tomorrow so they can look back over it on monday and try to figure out whats going on.

“P0A9” isn’t a valid diagnostic trouble code (DTC); there should be one more digit, to make it P0A90, P0A92, P0A93, or P0A94, all related to the hybrid system.
You can probably ignore B1421; it comes up whenever the solar sensor for the air conditioning in the dark.

For the other DTCs you mentioned, I wonder if there might be one or more loose connectors or damaged wire harnesses. The Repair Manual (more info) includes a diagnostic procedure for each DTC.

I probably missed the 0 at the end of that code. Typing too fast lol. Car was only 4000 and we have already put a 1000 in it to fix things. Just frustrated with it right now. I love my prius and just want it drivable without having to spend an arm and a leg!!!

You may want to have it checked.

They are thinking its the water pump causing these issues.

Not sure if i should have them go ahead and replace that or if i should just take it to the dealer and have them go over the car and see whats going on?!?

One thing to note, there was no Prius v wagon until 2012. So you are posting in the wrong area of the forums.

Any shop that can read the Toyota codes should be able to give you a description of what they mean and a description the the typical diagnostic steps to figuring out what caused them. Think of a flow chart with do this diagnostic step and, depending on the results, then do this or that. Sometimes extending pages.

I do apologize for posting under the forum. Honestly i dont know the full make of it. I just know its a 2008 prius. Was just trying to get insight from someone about options on what might be wrong with it. I didnt realize how many different makes there were!

    Again im sorry
