    Hello,

I have a 2011 Prius and I am sick of the air bag stickers after 70k miles of looking at them!
Searching the forums doesn't give me a whole lot of hope to get them off the cloth material they are stuck onto.
All of the suggestions I read on the Web seem to pertain to vinyl visors not ones made of cloth..

Yesterday I tried using a hot steam iron and a towel over the decal, I had it so hot I couldn't touch it, but no joy it wouldn't begin to let go.

I also tried Goof Off not Goo Gone, on a corner of the decal. It did take the white paint off but didn't seem to loosen at all, I didn't want to make a mess so I quit. Calling an upholstery shop to ask them if they ever had a request to remove the decals didn't bear any fruit either.

On other vehicles I was always able to just peel the stickers off, but these suckers are really on to stay, it appears to me

Covering them with something else like cloth material doesn't appeal to me I want them GONE!

    Thanks to all in advance!

Is this the labels on the visors? Our visors are flocked material; are your's similar. I'd be inclined to just leave them. They are a safety notification.

Thanks for the response, Yes mine are the flock material that you speak about. As far as being a safety notification anyone in this day and age that gets in a car and doesn't find it equipped with airbags from one end to the other it's from the Dark Ages. I'd still like to get those damn things off of there safety notification or not. Thanks again

It would be a great idea if I could find such an item but I'm not sure they exist.

I can’t recommend removing the warning labels, but I believe there might be versions of the visor assemblies without them, Toyota part numbers 74310-47200-B0 (RH) and 74320-47190-B0 (LH). I’m not certain that they lack the labels, nor whether a U.S. dealer would be able to order those parts.

Well you can't always have what you WANT.
I guess you are just going to have to suffer......if you won't accept a practical solution.

It is possible that if you order an new OEM one, it won't have the sticker on it.

Sometimes just backing off and doing nothing is the smart option?

Have a read through the pic above. If you ever trade that car, and the new owners have kids, there's some good info on that label.
