My drivers side seatbelt has decided to start fraying. Time for a replacement. But but but the usual online and local scrapyards have nothing to offer! Any suggestions welcome..... I was also thinking of trawling some European left hand drive sites that might have the passenger side available. Anyone have any links to a reliable European scrapyard? Hey Brian. Not yet. I keep an eye on new postings for breaker cars but still no luck. Something will turn up. It just needs to be before its MOT is due as that's a definite fail. The belt is still usable and safe however. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I’m not sure what that number might be, but it’s not a Toyota service part number. For cars built for sale in Europe (NHW11R-AEEEBW or NHW11L-AEEEBW), the Toyota part number listed in the Electronic Parts Catalog for the BELT ASSY, FRONT SEAT OUTER, RH is 73210-47021-B0, formerly 73210-47020-B0. The part is the same for RHD and LHD models, but not those built for sale in Japan or North America. Here’s one for sale in Sweden.
There are two first gen Pri's in the local pick a part. Passenger side seatbelts here are you driver's side, The don't get so much wear and usually aren't taken at the jy. I could go out and have a look if you like. Cost is going to be under $12 plus whatever shipping would be to UK. Do you want me to go look?
Well I took another look through the usual channels last night and guess what I found! Yip, someone breaking a gen1 in their backyard. So hopefully it's decent and on its way to me tomorrow. Cost was £30 including postage. Thanks for the offer and I would have taken you up on it if I hadn't found this guy's ad. I wonder what the postage would be anyway to the UK!
