2014 prius the car vibrates whilst driving. Doesn't happen all the time been told it's the spark plugs that been changed but it is still vibrating. Anyone else experienced this?? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Engine vibrates? Wheels/tires vibrate? The engine cycle on and off so you should easily be able to tell what is vibrating.
Hi- I have had this problem for the last 2 years. It recently got worse; I found out that it was a right-side caliper which was causing the brake pad to brake, when I was not braking. This caused the right brake pad to be further worn than the left; perhaps you could take a look at your brake pads and see if they are evenly worn. It took so long for me to get a proper diagnosis, as the problem would come and go; by the time I could get it to a shop, the problem would go away! best of luck! (I have to get new rotors, brakes, brake pads, brake hoses and calipers)
It's been checked over yesterday. They changed the spark plugs again. And it's cured it slightly. U can still feel it slightly jerking. Brake pads are evenly worn. You can mainly feel it vibrating at a constant speed. Been told.could be injectors? But gonna get clarification before forking out a lot of money on new injectors Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Just curious here.... and I'm wondering if this is the "vibration" your talking about. Do you experience this vibration right about the point where the car seems it could roll in electric only mode? If you have your display set to ECO, you'll find this right about the point where your pressure on the gas pedal puts the bar right about where the line is or slightly above it.

Managed to sort it out turned out to be the air intake manifold from the egr valve was blocked. All cleaned up and started running alright Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
