You mean the graphic shows it? The all look the same to me. In the brochure, the only textual mention I see is in the base model:

Maybe: one and three vary from two and four? Would be nice to find some concrete info. I really wonder if they're just two different wheel cover styles?

Again, the Canadian levels seem confounding and diminished, in particular:

1. Only the base having a spare.
2. Only the two tech levels having 3-door touch lock/unlock.
3. The tech levels always having sunroof.
4. No 17" rim option.

 

Yeah, forensic analysis, I'd agree one and three look the same. Two and four look different, and not nearly like each other. Two looks a little more directional?

Would you say then, none of them are bare rims? I mean: Prius 15" alloys with wheel covers are as predictable as BC rain. They slipped up with PIP, never again?

 

So 2WD Tech level has a decent rim? Good to know.

 

Looks like 19s are hitting lots near me. I’ve been looking at ones available on south east Toyota’s website.

I think it's 2WD, and the rims are all the same, far side would look kinda backwards.

Yes, the taillights changed.

 

Yes, 2012 had some minor changes: different tail light colors, front bumper a bit different, alloy rims (under covers) went from silver to black, I think the wheel covers changed too? Some interior changes: more connectivity for phones I think? I didn't pay that much attention.

 

Does Toyota have a model identifier for the Prius gen 4? Normally a manufacturing code.

ZVW50: Ni-MH battery, 2WD
ZVW51: Li-ion battery, 2WD
ZVW55: Ni-MH battery, AWD-e​

(ZVW52 refers to the Prius Prime and Prius PHV.)

For cars that have a VIN, the first few positions identify the basic model code:

The only place I’ve seen “XW50” used to refer to any Prius car is in the Wikipedia article; as far as I know, that’s a code made up by its editors. In the Electronic Parts Catalog, Toyota refers to the entire series as ZVW5#.
