Recently got 2012 Prius 4 and I’m looking to modify it just how I’d like it. Definitely going to tint it. But I’m looking for a set of rims that would look good on my car but I don’t want them to affect my gas mileage if they even do? Any suggestions? If you have different wheels on yours post a picture! Thanks!
Congrats - Rims are a big one that have an affect on mileage.. Even if you put on the OEM 17's it will have an impact on your gas mileage.. Unless you want to spend the big bucks and get ultra light wheels.. Over 17 will affect it, at 17's, you will still get good mileage but it will be less than the 15's.. usually, if you get bit by the mod bug, mileage goes out the window because, in general, you are still getting better mileage than most LOL Take a look in the forums tho, there is a yyyuge thread about wheels in there. Lowered, stock, bagged.. you name it, its all there. As a note, I have mine on HR lowering springs with new shocks and the OEM 15's and regularly see 55mpg's on my over 100 mile commute.
